Terror & Talk at the Time Bomb

Miss Ruth's Time Bomb is thrilled to announce our new monthly horror film club, Terror and Talk at the Time Bomb (TTTB). Hosted by our house Professor of Horror, Dr. John-Paul Checkett, a contributing author for SCREEM! magazine and Video Watchdog. Each month the Professor will select a film and then facilitate a group discussion. Only at the Time Bomb can you be terrified alongside an expert of horror.

The Professor of Horrors has chosen The Invitation for his March movie. Come on over to the Time Bomb on Saturday, March 17th from 7:00 - 10:00 and enjoy Terror and Talk at the Time Bomb!

Please feel free to BYOB and to bring a snack for yourself or if you're in the giving spirit a snack to share! You can also just bring yourself and that is perfectly fine too! Be sure to wear some green so we can sort-of celebrate Saint Patrick's Day or don't:) We don't really care!

Movie: The Invitations

Synopsis: Will and Eden were once a loving couple. After a tragedy took their son, Eden disappeared. Two years later, out of the blue, she returns with a new husband... and as a different person, eerily changed and eager to reunite with her ex and those she left behind. Over the course of a dinner party in the house that was once his, the haunted Will is gripped by mounting evidence that Eden and her new friends have a mysterious and terrifying agenda. But can we trust Will's hold on reality? Or will he be the unwitting catalyst of the doom he senses?
